The unfolding crisis in Ukraine has roiled commodity markets and posed threat to global food security, the IDSC added.

According to the poll, 73.2% of respondents declared that they do not throw any food.

Poll results also revealed that 79.7% of heads of households said that they buy only their needs while 17.3% of respondents said that they buy goods in bulk if there are offers.

Meanwhile, 55.9% of heads of households said that reducing all food losses is the responsibility of the citizens, while 36.5% of respondents said that it is a joint responsibility between the citizen and the government
