CAIRO - 14 September 2022: Covid-19 situation in Egypt is stable with remarkable decrease in infection cases, said Presidential Adviser for Health Affairs Mohamed Tag Eddin.

Speaking to ETC TV channel, he reiterated on Tuesday that all citizens need to get Covid-19 vaccinations and adopt all precautionary measures.

An integrated plan has been developed to monitor monkeypox cases coming from abroad, he said, noting that the Egyptian citizen, who has recently tested positive for monkeypox virus, is isolated in a hospital.

No new monkeypox cases have been reported in Egypt so far, the adviser added.
