CAIRO – 5 September 2022: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Egypt on an official visit, Monday, in which he will meet with President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
According to a statement for the Palestinian embassy in Cairo, Egypt’s Minister of Justice Counselor Omar Marawan and Palestinian ambassador in Cairo Diab al-Louh welcomed President Abbas at Cairo International Airport .
Al-Louh said that the president's visit aims to embody permanent and continuous consultation and cooperation with President Al Sisi, on various issues at the Arab, regional and international levels.
He added that the two leaders will be meeting on Tuesday.
The Palestinian President is accompanied with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Riyad Al-Malki, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Hussein Al-Sheikh, Head of the General Intelligence Majid Faraj, and Adviser to the President for Diplomatic Affairs Majdi Al-Khalidi.
