OIC condemns Giza terror attack; reiterates support for Egypt

CAIRO - JEDDAH - 15 July 2017: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Saturday condemned Friday's Badrasheen terror attack that targeted a police checkpoint.

Secretary General of OIC Yousef al Othaimeen deplored the coward act, reiterating the OIC support for Egypt in its fight against terrorism and extremism.

Al Othaimeen stressed that the terrorism became one of the most dangerous threats to international peace and stability.

He offered condolences to the families of the victims.

Five policemen were killed in the attack.
