Egypt witnesses very hot, humid weather until Saturday

CAIRO – 25 July 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) revealed that a very hot and humid weather will prevail during the day across the country starting Monday, and util next Saturday.

Water mist will be witnessed in the morning on agricultural and highway roads close to green areas leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and the Canal cities.

An increase in humidity levels will be felt due to the extension of India's seasonal depression in most parts.

High humidity during the day increases the feeling of the hot weather than expected in the shade, with values ​​ranging from (3:2) degrees Celsius.

Direct exposure to sunlight also increases the feeling of high temperatures.

Winds are active in some areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and South Sinai at intermittent intervals, which reduces the feeling of high humidity at night.

Winds are active on the coasts of the Mediterranean on Salloum, Matrouh and El Alamein, which leads to waves rising with values ​​ranging from 1.5: 2 meters.
