CAIRO – 29 June 2022: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and his Algerian counterpart Aymen Benabderrahmane attended on Wednesday the signing ceremony of a number of documents that will give a boost to bilateral cooperation.
The signing came at the end of Egyptian-Algerian higher committee meetings.
Cabinet spokesman Nader Saad said a memo of understanding was signed between the two sides in the irrigation and water resources domain. It was signed by Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Rania el Mashat and her Algerian counterpart Karim Hosni.
The signed documents are related to environment and sustainable development, financial monitoring and bourse operations, religious affairs, manpower, higher education, exports development, small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting investments in Algeria and diplomatic affairs.

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli laid a wreath at the Martyrs' Memorial upon his arrival in the Algerian capital on Wednesday to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence.
Madbouli was accompanied by Algerian Higher Education Minister Abdelbaki Benziane, the Egyptian ambassador in Algiers as well as members of the Egyptian delegation accompanying him during his current visit to Algeria.
Madbouli expressed happiness to visit the memorial at a time the country is about to mark the 60th anniversary of its Independence Day.
