Egypt, Malta discuss resuming direct flight

CAIRO – 20 May 2022: Egyptian Ambassador to Malta Khaled Anis held on Thursday an online meeting with the executive manager of the Air Malta and head of board of directors of Air Cairo to discuss resuming direct flights between Egypt and Malta to enhance trade and tourism exchange.

In a post on its official Facebook page, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said that the two sides have welcomed the recent decision taken by Malta to cancel the public health lists to travel to Malta.

This will enable Egyptian and Maltese citizens to travel to both countries, the statement further said.
