CAIRO- 9 May 2022: Egyptian Ministry of Health warned of eating or fishing the highly toxic Takifugu, saying that this poisonous fish leads to death as there is no antidote to its poison.
The Ministry’s warning was issued after a five-member family was poisoned after having a meal of Takifugu fish in the Mediterranean city of Port Said.

Takifugu is found in the Red Sea, and the oceans, and reached the Mediterranean Sea through the Suez Canal, the ministry said.
