CAIRO – 13 July 2017: Another heat wave is set to hit Egypt from Thursday to Sunday, reaching its peak on Friday and Saturday, according to the Chairman of the Meteorology Authority Ahmed Abdel Aal.
Highs from 38°C to 40°C is expected in Cairo and Lower Egypt governorates, while temperature in Upper Egypt governorates will record 43-45°C.
Abdel Aal furthermore urged citizens to avoid sun's peak hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and to do outdoor activities in the afternoon.
