CAIRO – 2 May 2022: President Abdel Fatah al- Sisi was keen on celebrating the first day of Eid al-Fitr (The Feast of Breaking the Fast) with the children of officers who were injured and killed on duty, fighting terrorists.
During a ceremony held Monday morning, President Sisi participated in a memorial photo with the children.
He also toured with the children in the games area that was designated for them to celebrate the feast, and gave them gifts.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday also honored a number of families of martyrs of police and the army and medical teams during a celebration of Eidul Fitr.
The Eid al-Fitr celebration includes a number of theatrical and entertainment performances for children.
The Egyptian state and many Islamic and Arab countries celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi was keen to exchange congratulations with many heads of state, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr. President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi made phone calls Saturday evening to six Arab leaders greeting them on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawki Allam announced on Saturday that Monday, May 2, 2022 will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr in Egypt.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has also extended greetings to Egyptians abroad on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
