CAIRO - 25 April 2022: A number of social media users circulated pictures of lumps of duts suspended in the air, currently moving to different parts of the country.
Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, the Director of Weather Forecasting and Early Warning Department at the General Authority of Meteorology, revealed that there is wind activity and thunderstorms, coming from the Arabian Peninsula, advising citizens to keep windows closed.
Shaheen added that with the directions of the northeastern winds, this dust moves through areas of the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially in Sinai, and advances to some separate areas of the country. However, he ensured there is no need to concern as it is not noticeably influential.
