CAIRO - 23 April 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) revealed that the latest satellite images showed that hot weather prevails during the day in the north of the country, very hot in the south of Upper Egypt, although it remains inclined to cold at night during the coming period, and winds are sometimes active in separate areas.
Saturday witnesss a rise in temperature, with hot weather prevailing during the day in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, moderate on the northern coasts, very hot on southern Upper Egypt, tending to be cold in the north of the country.
The Meteorological Authority stated that there will be wind activity Saturday in most parts of Greater Cairo, and chances of light rain on Halayeb and Shalateen.
As for the temperatures on Saturday:
Cairo records highs of 31 degrees and lows of 17 degrees
Alexandria records highs of 26 and lows of 16 degrees
Matrouh records highs of 23 degrees and lows of 14 degrees
Sohag records highs of 32 degrees and lows of 17 degrees
Qena records highs of 36 degrees and lows of 19 degrees
Aswan records highs of 37 degrees lows of is 20 degrees
St Catherine records highs of 26 degrees, and lows of 8 degrees
