Egypt, Libya agree to facilitate entry procedures of workers

CAIRO - 2 April 2022: Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan met Friday with Libyan Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Al Mahdi al Amin to discuss a number of important files.

The meeting covered the newly-adopted electronic link system, minimum-wage contracts, and health insurance for Egyptian workers required for reconstruction process in Libya.

The two sides also discussed the health insurance policy for Egyptian workers travelling to Libya.

The Egyptian workers are highly trained and demanded in Libya especially with its plans of development projects, said the Libyan minister.
