CAIRO – 31 March 2022: Eighteen ambassadors to Cairo delivered Thursday their letters of credence to President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi at Al Itihadiyah Presidential Palace.
Those are the envoys of France, Armenia, Italy, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Japan, Mongolia, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Niger, Tanzania, Mali, Sierra Leone, Serbia, Slovakia, Senegal, and Vietnam.
The presidency's press statement indicates that the chief of state "welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their missions in Cairo and affirming Egypt's keenness on reinforcing bilateral relations with their states in all fields as well as the continuity of communication and coordination over various regional and international issues of mutual interest."
