President Sisi to Saudi Crown Prince: Egypt fully stands by Kingdom against destabilizing attempts

CAIRO – 26 March 2022: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Friday, said Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

 

Over the call, President Sisi stressed Egypt's full solidarity with the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to confront all attempts that seek to undermine the stability of the Kingdom and the Gulf region, Rady said.

 

His Excellency stressed that the security and stability of the two brotherly countries are interrelated, Rady added.

 

The call was conducted after the terrorist attacks launched by the Yemeni Houthis against the Saudi oil facility of Aramco in Jeddah on Friday evening.

 

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry voiced Egypt’s strong condemnation of the continuation of the Iranian-backed Houthis’ terrorist attacks against the kingdom.
