CAIRO – 21 March 2022: During his visit to Islamabad, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry met Monday with Pakistani Chief of Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa to discuss issues of joint interest.
The minister, who is also the president-designate of COP27 to be hosted by Egypt in November, met with Pakistani Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Wazir.

Pakistan is the last destination of the Asian tour Minister Shokry began on March 14, as he had been to Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. The minister is scheduled to attend the 48th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) to be held in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on March 22-23.
