Electricity min. , EU delegation discuss bilateral cooperation in Egypt

CAIRO - 12 July 2017: Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker met Wednesday with a delegation of the EU to discuss cooperation between the two sides.

Egypt is looking forward to boosting economic and social relations with the pan European body, Shaker said during the meeting.

A statement by the Electricity Ministry said the meeting also took up a 2030 sustainable development strategy.

The EU delegates were pleased with achievements of the electricity sector in Egypt, the statement added
