Publicity campaign launched on occasion of Egyptian diplomacy's centennial anniversary

CAIRO – 8 March 2022: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched Tuesday a campaign to publicize the achievements of the Egyptian diplomacy, as March 15 marks the centennial anniversary of its resumption, after it had been suspended as a consequence of the declaration of British Protectorate over Egypt in 1914.

The campaign includes interactive activities on the ministry's social media accounts, and briefs on the history of Egyptian diplomacy. The information will showcase the ministry's efforts to maintain the interests of Egypt as well as preserve regional and international peace and stability.

An ongoing prominent achievement of Egyptian diplomacy is that Sharm El Sheikh was selected to host COP27 in November so as the incumbent minister of foreign affairs became the summit's president designate.
