CAIRO – 3 March 2022: A new batch of 25 Egyptian students who stranded in the eastern Ukrainian Dnipro was evacuated and peacefully arrived to the Hungarian capital, Budapest, said Vice President of the Egyptian community in Ukraine Ahmed Mohamed Al-Saeed on Thursday.
 
In media comments to Youm7 newspaper, Saeed added that representative of the Egyptian embassy in Kyiv Dr. Nader Ghanem accompanied the group until their reached Hungary peacefully.
  
Two days ago, an EgyptAir flight took off to the Romanian capital, Bucharest, to bring back Egyptian students who fled Ukraine, Cabinet Spokesperson Nader Saad announced.
 
Egyptian Minister of Immigration and Expats Affairs Nabila Makram stated Saturday that a group of Egyptians in Ukraine had already arrived in Cairo and that 1,000 others were expected to reach the Romanian capital of Bucharest,.
 
The students thanked the Egyptian embassy in Ukraine and the Egyptian community in Ukraine for the tremendous efforts they exerted in helping the community leave Ukraine safely and reach the Hungarian, in preparation for returning home.
 
Egyptian authorities are communicating with 5,000 Egyptian citizens living 21 in Ukrainian cities, including 3,000 students, said Minister of Migration Ambassador Nabila Makram on Feb. 26 in comments to "From Egypt" T.V. talk show on the "CBC" channel, saying the state is concerned with their safety to return home.
