EMA warns Egypt to witness sharp drop in temperature by 6°C as of Thursday

CAIRO - 1 March 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority revealed that the weather will witness a significant drop in temperature by 4 to 6 degrees as of Thursday. 

 

The authority made the statement Tuesday, warning citizens as the weather has witnessed a rise in temperature over the past days recording 20 degrees and above. 

 

 

Egypt is witnessing today, Tuesday and Wednesday, a gradual rise in temperatures throughout, so that warm weather prevails during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and North Upper Egypt, northern coasts, tending to be heat on southern Upper Egypt, and very cold at night.

 

 

The Meteorological Authority stated that today, there is suspended dust in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
