Egypt to witness increase in temperature Tuesday; Cairo records 24°C

CAIRO – 28 February 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expected Tuesday to witness a rise in temperature degrees, where a warm weather to prevail during the day on Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt.

EMA also said that the weather will be warm on the northwestern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, the northeastern coasts, central Sinai, southern Sinai, the Red Sea mountain ranges, and northern Upper Egypt, while the weather expected to be very cole at night in south of Upper Egypt.

Suspended dust is also expected to be witnessed during the day, Tuesday, in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.

As for the temperatures on Tuesday:

Cairo records highs of 24°C and lows of 12°C

Alexandria records highs of 22°C and lows of 12°C

Matrouh records highs of 21°C and lows of 12°C

Sohag records highs of 27°C and lows of 9°C

Qena records highs of 28°C and lows of 10°C

Aswan records highs of 31°C and lows of 12°C

Sainte Catherine records highs of 23°C and lows of 3°C
