Kazakhstan is among the 10 largest producers of wheat and also one of the world’s largest wheat and flour exporters.
Egypt has expressed concerns regarding a potential rise in wheat prices and scarcity in wheat supply over tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
In a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said Egypt will look forward to diversifying its sources of wheat import given that the country receives most of its annual wheat imports from Russia and Ukraine.
