Egypt to see sudden drop in temperature, rainfall, starting Wednesday

CAIRO – 21 February 2022: Egypt expected to witness a sudden drop in temperature, rainfall as air depression hits the country, Wednesday.

Member of the Media Center of the Meteorological Authority, Manar Ghanem, revealed that as of next Wednesday, the country is expected to be affected by a new extension of air depression that will strike the country, pointing out that this depression is in the upper layers of the atmosphere at a height of 6 kilometers from the surface of the earth.

She added that this depression will cause rain to return again to be on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt governorates, with a decrease in temperatures and wind activity.
