China to supply Egypt with 60M doses of Sinopharm vaccine

CAIRO – 20 February 2022: Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Hossam Abdel Ghaffar stated Sunday that China will supply Egypt with 60 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine soon.

A total of 835,270 people received booster shots in Egypt, the ministry announced on February 17, as Egypt started administering a third coronavirus vaccine shot in December.

As many as 29,305,504 people were fully vaccinated so far, the ministry said, adding that 38,839,210 people received their first coronavirus vaccine shot.
