CAIRO – 8 February 2022: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expected a drop in temperature to be witnessed in Egypt on Wednesday, with Cairo recording highs of 18 degrees Celsius after a slight increase temperature over the past few days.
EMA said that cold weather will prevail during the day on Greater Cairo, southern Lower Egypt, northeastern coasts, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
Wednesday, according to EMA’s statement, will witness light to medium rainfall in all parts, with the weather recording low at night, reaching frost point on central Sinai.
As for the temperatures on Wednesday:
Cairo will record highs of 18 degrees and lows of 10 degrees
Alexandria will record highs of 16 and lows of 11 degrees
Matrouh will record highs of 16 degrees and lows of 10 degrees
Sohag will record highs of 20 degrees and lows of 08 degrees
Qena will record highs of 23 degrees and lows of 08 degrees
Aswan will record highs of 25 degrees and lows of 09 degrees
Saint Catherine will record highs of 15 degrees, and lows of 00.
