Egypt's PM reviews state’s efforts for fighting drug addiction

CAIRO - 31 Januart 2022: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli reviewed Sunday the state’s efforts for combating drug addiction at a meeting with Minister of Social Solidarity Nivene Kabbaj and Head of the Addiction Treatment and Abuse Fund Amr Othman.

During the meeting, Kabbaj pointed out that the 2022-2026 national plan for fighting addiction was outlined, adding that an event will be organized on this occasion under the auspice of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Recent data showed that the percentage of addiction among citizens witnessed a drop in 2020 compared to 2015, the minister said.
