World Youth Forum announces health security plan including robots

CAIRO – 9 January 2022: The World Youth Forum (WYF), whose fourth edition will have 18,000 participants and 500 speakers, disclosed Sunday the health security plan set in collaboration with Bee Group.  

The plan consists of three axes. One is sanitization, which includes covering doorknobs with "Sanitizing Pads," which kill 99.9 percent of viruses and germs, as well as installing air-cleaning devices that use the "plasmacluster ion technology" in different halls.  Also, "Fogging Machines" will be used in sterilization, for the first time ever in Egypt.

The second axis is reducing human contact by deploying a number of robots who will carry out a number of tasks. Sterilization Robots will disinfect the venue's facilities through urtlaviolet waves, and issue reports on the sanitary status of different spots.

 

Reactive Robots will provide attendees with the necessary information they need, and measure their body temperature, reporting those showing symptoms to organizers. Finally, Servant Robots will be offering sanitizers, and masks to the audience in halls.  

 

The third axis is boosting the immunity of participants as they will be handed bags – brought from the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom – that contain vitamins, wipes, N95 masks, thermometers, sanitizers, and saline solutions.  

Bee Group is an Egyptian corporate that was founded in 2016, and is composed of five firms, operating in the sectors of constructions, petrochemicals and petroleum products, manufacturing and exporting of cotton products, supply of food and medical products, and art production.

The corporate is now working in 16 countries, including the United States and the United Arab Emirates. It is noted that in 2020, it began offering health security services for events and establishments.
