President Sisi affirms Egypt’s firm commitment towards maintaining Gulf security

CAIRO- 23 December 2021: President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met on Thursday with Speaker of the  Bahraini Council of Representatives Ms. Fawzia Bint Abdullah Zainal, affirming Egypt’s firm commitment towards maintaining Gulf security, said Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady in a statement.

 

President Sisi asked the Bahraini Speaker of the parliament to convey his greetings to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, praising the strength of the Egyptian-Bahraini relations, Rady said, adding that the President stressing Egypt's keenness to develop close and distinguished cooperation between the two countries at various levels.

 

The meeting was attended by  Speaker of the House of Representatives  Hanafi Jabali and Hisham Al-Jowder,  the Bahraini Ambassador  in Cairo.

 

The Speaker of the Bahraini House of Representatives conveyed to the President the greetings of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Egypt at all levels.

 

She also praised Egypt's pivotal role in the region as a mainstay for the security and stability of the Arab world.
