CAIRO - 25 November 2021: The Egyptian authorities on Thursday resumed the operation of the Rafah crossing from in both directions after the weekend holiday, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported.

The resumption of the crossing came upon directives of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to facilitate the movement of Palestinian people stranded at the crossing.

The Rafah crossing has been opened for the past six months, entering its seventh month of consecutive operation on November 16, 2021 to facilitate the crossing of humanitarian cases and medical aid to Palestinians.
