This is yet another achievement by the Egyptian state, Allam said in a statement Tuesday, noting that Sisi’s decision reflects the degree of stability in the country that resulted from a wise strategy in managing the different files, atop of which the fight against terrorism.
He added that ending the state of emergency sure has many positive effects on Egypt, whether at home or abroad.
Allam thanked those who contributed to this important achievement, especially the Armed Forces and police.
Egypt’s Judges Club, headed by Chancellor Mohamed Abdel Mohsen, also has commended President El Sisi’s decree. In a statement, the Judges Club congratulated the Egyptian people on this bold decision, which it said confirms the state of stability, security and safety in the country thanks to sacrifices made by the nation’s martyrs and the efforts of loyal state institutions.
It also indicates that Egypt is on its path towards further progress and prosperity at a steady pace, the club added.
The Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies (ECSS) has praised the decision. Egypt has, thus, beaten all risks and challenges, said ECSS director general Khaled Okasha in statements to MENA Tuesday, noting that the decision meant Egypt is now in a position where it could take firm steps forward.
The decision was made after long years and thorough study of the general situation at the security and economic levels, Okasha said, adding that threats to Egypt were also considered.
This decision heralds a new phase toward consolidating pillars of a new republic, whose launch was declared in the middle of this year, the ECSS official noted.
