Egypt offers condolences to families of victims killed in bow and arrow attack

CAIRO – 14 October 2021:  Egypt offered its condolences to the  Norwegian families of the victims who were killed in an attack that took place in the city of  Kongsberg on Thursday.

 

“We are shocked and saddened by yesterday’s heinous attack in Kongsberg in Norway. We offer our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. We express our solidarity with the people and government of Norway,” said Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Ahmed Hafez on his Twitter account on Thursday.

Five people were killed and others were injured when a Dutch man used a bow and arrow to kill them on Wednesday, BBC reported.
