CAIRO – 9 October 2021: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurates the ‘Turathna Exhibition’ for heritage and handicrafts, at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in The Fifth Settlement District, New Cairo.
The exhibition, which lasts until October 15, aims to revive the traditional crafts and assist the small handicraft manufacturers by opening outlets to market their products.
The exhibition is being held under the patronage of President Sisi. It was organized by the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency.
A total of 1,500 exhibitors of artists and craftsmen will display their hand-made luxurious products on an area of 20,000 square meters. In addition to this, a number of NGOs are interested in participating in the exhibition.
