CAIRO- 3 October 2021: The Coordination’s Committee of Party’s Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) won 10 seats in special committee elections of the House of Representatives (the lower house of the Parliament), the CPYP said in a statement on Sunday.
 
Six members of the CPYP won positions as secretaries of special committees while four others elected as special committee deputies.
 
 Lawmaker Amira Saber was elected as secretary of the Foreign Relations Committee; MP Amr Darwish as Secretary of the Local Administration Committee; MP Ahmed Makled as Secretary of the Arab Affairs Committee; Rasha Abu Shakra as Secretary of the African Affairs Committee;  Muhammad Taysir Matar as Secretary of the Human Rights Committee; MP Marcel Samir as Secretary of the Committee on Small and Medium-Seized Enterprises.
 
Meanwhile MP Nader Mustafa was elected as deputy of the Culture, Media and Antiquities Committee; Ahmed Fathi as deputy of the Social Solidarity, Family and Persons with Disabilities Committee;  MP Muhammad Abdel Aziz as a deputy of the Human Rights Committee;  and Martha Mahrous as an deputy of the Communications and Technology Committee.
