CAIRO - 2 October 2021: On the occasion of the Egyptian Judiciary Day, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi announced his own full respect to the judiciary authority, affirming that he has directed the government to meet all the requirements to enhance its working system.
 
“I do respect the judiciary and its independence, and I will never intervene in its affairs […] All Respect to the judiciary authority and non-interference in its affairs is not a matter of politics, but rather a reality,” he said in his speech on Saturday.
 
He added that he is not far away from understanding the independence of the judiciary as his brother is a member of the judicial authority.
 
“Non-interference in the judicial authority is a golden rule we cannot deviate from,” the President said.
 
President Sisi said that Improving the Judicial rulings by practicing justice and applying science and integrity enhances the message of the supreme judicial authority.
 
“The judicial system has been developed by using technology applications to facilitate obtaining judicial information and speed up the completion of citizens’ lawsuits,” he continued, adding “ the current stage [that Egypt witnesses] requires exerting work hard by everyone and gives priority to the interests of the country.”
 
President Sisi also extended his appreciation and respect for former interim President Adly Mansour for his participation and support at the hard times Egypt went through.
 
During the celebration, President Sisi received the shield of the Egyptian judiciary from Minister of Justice Omar Marwan. He also honored a number of judges and relatives of martyr Judge Hesham Barakat.
