The Netherlands stresses support to Egypt against terrorism

CAIRO – 9 July 2017: The Netherlands underscored Sunday its support to Egypt in its war against the terrorism, pressing for concerted efforts to uproot terror.

In a statement, the embassy said it was "shocked by the recent terrorist attacks in Rafah and elsewhere in Egypt."

"The ambassador and the staff share Egypt’s sorrow and we send our deep condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones," it read.

"We continue to stand with Egypt in its fight against terrorism and working together, we will defeat it," the embassy concluded.
