Egypt’s FM meets with Chief of AmCham Egypt

CAIRO - 18 September 2021:  Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received on Saturday Chairman of Egypt-US Business Council and President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt), said Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Ahmed Hafez.

 

The meeting took place prior to the departure of the US delegation to the United States on a “Door Knock” mission, which comes within the framework of supporting all efforts aimed at promoting further investments & trade between two countries, Hafez said.

At a symposium, jointly arranged by USAID, The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham) and ITIDA, on 19 July 2021, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has participated in the “Towards Creating an Enabling Environment for Venture Capital and Start-ups in Egypt.”
