Egyptian Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa arrived in Vienna on Tuesday to take part in the first Global Parliamentary Summit on Countering Terrorism.
CAIRO - 8 September 2020: Egyptian Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa arrived in Vienna on Tuesday to take part in the first Global Parliamentary Summit on Countering Terrorism.
The minister was received at the airport by Egyptian Ambassador in Vienna Mohamed el Molla, consul-general Bassem Taha, and a number of UN officials.
In statements ahead of leaving Cairo, Gomaa said he is set to meet with a host of senior officials participating in the summit in order to brief them on Egypt’s pioneering experience in facing terrorism and extremist thought.
