Egypt operates 2nd air bridge of humanitarian aid to Sudan

CAIRO – 7 September 2021: Egypt operated Monday the second air bridge of humanitarian aid to Sudan sending tons of food and blankets, spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces stated.

The aid is offered by the Ministry of Defense and Military Production and the Egyptian Red Crescent, and the delivery was made by two military cargo aircraft.

"Sudanese officials praised the aid that strengthens the fraternal relations between the two brotherly peoples, stressing their full appreciation for the efforts made by the Egyptian government and its people, and such efforts represent a great place in the mindsets of the Sudanese people, which contributes to deepening the historical relations between Egypt and Sudan," the press statement indicates.​
