CAIRO – 27 August 2021: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will participate later on Friday via video conference in the fourth international G20 Compact with Africa Summit hosted by Germany annually, presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The summit comes with the participation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel along with a number of African countries’ presidents and government leaders and members of the G20 group.
Presidents of a number of international institutions which are partners in the initiative will also attend.
Sisi’s participation in the G20 Compact with Africa summits comes as they represent an important international forum for continuous communication with the G20 group, Radi added.
The summits also represent a distinguished platform for explaining the Egyptian experience and developmental achievements Egypt has achieved over the past years, according to Radi.
This year's Summit held on Friday will feature a G20 Investment Summit on "Framework Conditions for Business and Investment".
Also, a session on the G20 Compact with Africa amid the Coronavirus Pandemic is set to be held.
