Egyptian Armed Forces congratulated Feryal Ashraf, the Olympic Champion of Karate, after she won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
CAIRO – 13 August 2021: Egyptian Armed Forces congratulated Feryal Ashraf, the Olympic Champion of Karate, after she won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The armed forces received Ashraf and congratulated her for her honorable performance as representing Egypt in this international event. Ashraf garnered the gold medal in the Kumite +61kg event after beating her Azerbaijani opponent Irina Zaretska.
The armed forces also congratulated the player Mohamed Ibrahim el-Sayed Kisho for obtaining the third place, and winning the bronze medal in the Roman wrestling competitions balance 76 kg in the same championship.
This achievement comes as a result of fruitful cooperation and continuous coordination between the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Egyptian Olympic Committee and the Egyptian sports federations to create sports cadres under the comprehensive auspices of the General Command of the Armed Forces to win championships in all Olympic forums.
