In pics: Egypt’s Min. of Defense inspects technical unit affiliated with Arms and Ammunition Department

CAIRO - 2 August 2021: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki made an inspection tour to one of the technical units of the weapons affiliated with the Department of Arms and Ammunition, Monday.

This tour came within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces interest to follow up the process of continuous development and modernization of devices and equipment for the various departments and specialized weapons.

 

Zaki watched a presentation that included a detailed explanation of the method of work and continuous development in light of the technological revolution in the field of weapons.

He also inspected the exhibition of research and technical achievements of the weapons and ammunition management units, which included a number of models that are being produced or repaired by the units.

 

Zaki praised the distinguished level, and the high combativeness of the Department of Arms and Ammunition men and their insistence on fulfilling the tasks assigned to them.

He stressed that the armed forces are proceeding towards developing their combat and technical capabilities in accordance with the latest international systems in all weapons and disciplines to protect the Egyptian national security.
