CAIRO – 26 July 2021: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi greeted Monday Liberian counterpart George Weah and Maldivian peer Ibrahim Mohamed Salih on the occasion of Independence Day via cables.
The former celebrates independence from the United States and the adoption of the constitution in 1847.
As for the latter's Independence Day, it also marks the foundation of the state of Maldives in 1965 amid getting rid of the British colonization.
