CAIRO – 19 July 2021: The Made in Egypt exhibition, which was held in South Sudan’s capital, Juba, concluded its activities on Sunday.

 

Minister of Investment of South Sudan Dio Matok said that the consumer from South Sudan admired Egyptian products that were displayed in the exhibition.

 

He added that the exhibition was a major experience for the Egyptian investors, explaining that the market in South Sudan is very important for Egyptian products.

 

“Some believe that there is a problem in South Sudan when they see the demonstrations in South Africa…we do not have any problems, there is stability in South Sudan, and South Sudan President Salva Kiir is greatly interested in strengthening relations Between Egypt and South Sudan, especially with regard to economic integration,” Minister Matok said.

 

In turn, Ambassador Mohamed Kadah, Egypt's ambassador to South Sudan, affirmed that the relations between Egypt and South Sudan are “distinguished at various levels,” explaining that the "Made in Egypt" exhibition is an important station on the road to developing these relations.

 

The Egyptian ambassador to South Sudan said, in statements to Extra News TV Channel, that the “Made in Egypt” exhibition is an Egyptian trade and industrial exhibition in South Sudan, which is certainly a very important issue in terms of investment and economic cooperation between the two countries, and the bilateral cooperation is very much and extended.
