4th Edition of Cairo Water Week to convene on October 24-28

CAIRO- 1 July 2021: The fourth edition of the Cairo Water Week will be held on October 24-28 under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, announced Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Atti in a statement on Thursday.

 

The Cairo Water Week, which will be held under the theme of “water and population and global changes…challenges and chances,” comes within the framework of the state's interest in water issues, the minister said.

 

“The Cairo Water Week aims to reach sustainable solutions for managing water resources, and to face population increase,” he said.

 

Abdel Atti's remarks came during a meeting held with head of the planning sector Eman Sayyed on ongoing preparations for the event.
