In an interview with Extra News TV channel, he added that Egyptian efforts for reaching a ceasefire in Gaza directed the attention of the US administration to intervene for preserving security and stability in the region.

He pointed out that US President Joe Biden has thanked president Sisi for his efforts to stabilize the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Abul Gheit confirmed that the Palestinian cause is the major issue of the Arabs.

As for the Libyan file, he noted that the Libyan people have suffered over the past 10 years due to foreign interference in their country.

Regarding the Arab water security file, he pointed out that Egypt and Sudan are threatened by Ethiopia's dam. He also noted that Syria is threatened by Turkey.
