CAIRO – 1 June 2021: Cairo University announced, in a statement on Tuesday, that it has started a while ago to develop the technological infrastructure in its colleges, allocating L.E. 500 million for this purpose.
As part of its plan is to connect all university buildings with high speed fiber optic cables, restructure networks across the university, develop insurance system, raising capabilities of internet servers and feeding all buildings with fast wireless internet.
Cairo University has developed a comprehensive plan in order to transform into a smart university integrated in all educational and applied aspects based on digital transformation, by implementing many mechanisms at all levels.
