CAIRO, May 25 (MENA) - Education and Technical Education Minister Tarek Shawki reaffirmed that Thanaweya Amma (high school) exams will held online for all regular students based on his ministry's new examination system.
Posting on his Facebook page on Tuesday evening, Shawki stressed that the new education draft law and its amendments are in no way related to the Thanaweya Amma examination system, to prevent any misinformation on that score.
He indicated that the cabinet had only proposed a few amendments to one article in the education law in force, and these amendments include applying a cumulative grading system for Thanaweya Amma students, introducing multiple exam models and allowing students to sit for end-of-year exams more than once.
