Social solidarity min. holds talks with WB mission on reforming pension system

CAIRO – 7 July 2017: Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali held a meeting Friday with members of the World Bank mission on the sidelines of their visit to Egypt, which aims to follow up reforms in the country's pension system.

The World Bank mission's visit included meetings with officials from the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Finance and the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, the Ministry of Social Solidarity said in a Friday statement.

The visit comes within the framework of the partnership strategy between the Egyptian government and the World Bank, which entails providing technical assistance for social protection programs in Egypt.
