Breaking: Arab quartet promise escalation against Qatar

CAIRO – 6 July 2017: Egypt, Suadi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain said in a joint statement that Qatar’s rejection of the Arab demands is clear evidence that it will continue to support terrorism.

“The four states do not accept Qatar's refusal to stop supporting terrorism; our demands are legitimate and logical and are inevitable for regional security. We stress the 12th term in the demands document, which gives Qatar 10 days to comply or we will further escalate our legal, political and economic measures against the government of Qatar to secure our national security and interests,” the four states said in the statement.
