CAIRO – 1 May 2021: Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad Nabila Makram Abdel-Shahid offered sincere congratulations to three Egyptian nationals who received the Royal Dutch Medal “Knight badge.”

 

The three Egyptians are: Eng. Ahmed Saeed, a university professor; Dr. Milad Fayez Musa, the founder of the Netherlands Center for Human Development in the Netherlands, and Ms. Mona Ahmed.

 

They were honored in recognition for their efforts in societal activity for 15 years in Arab countries, and within Arab communities in the Netherlands and Europe.

 

In a statement, the Minister of Immigration affirmed her great pride in what the three Egyptians were able to offer to the people of Egypt in the Netherlands, in the field of community services.

 

She said that their honoring “sends a great message to the world that an Egyptian abroad can provide a model for insistence on success and self-realization.”

 

 

Dr. Milad Fayez Musa was awarded for his role in spreading positivity in society through his role as a trainer in human development, through lectures and training course in social institutions in the Netherlands, and some Arab communities in European countries in voluntary contribution.

 

University professor and engineer Ahmed Saeed was awarded the Royal Medal of "Knight" for his contributions in the social and scientific fields in the Netherlands and Europe.

 

Mrs. Mona Ahmed was awarded the medal in appreciation of her volunteer efforts in community service.

 

King Alexander of the Netherlands grants a number of royal medals to some personalities who have a positive and influential role in society, according to specific conditions. Medals vary in terms of their degrees, and the person nominated for the medal must have been engaged in beneficial and influential social work in Dutch society, and outside it for at least 15 years, and he continues to play the same role for free and voluntarily.
